New Coptic Synaxarium Version

Now that we have close to 300 downloads, I started working on the next version of the Android App released 11 days ago. This version will include the actual synaxarium text and not just the titles.
Maybe in a future version, we'll also change the widget icon to match major holidays. Currently it is always the Coptic cross.

I am starting with the text from a PDF book. I used PDF2Text to glean all text out of it and I am now trying to use XSLT 2.0 to generate XML that I can easily use in my app.

Coptic Calendar/Synaxarium

Simple Coptic Calendar and Synaxarium. Widget display current date in coptic and a simple app that lists Synaxarium entries of the day. Simple Menu with the app allows you to look up a date or go back to today's date.

First Post

This is my first post on this new blog. I intend to use it to just rant about anything I am thinking about. This may include a few posts about religion and technology. Two things I feel pretty strongly about. We'll see how this goes.
